Core Strength & Stability

We have spent years working on our stomachs to get flat abs - hundreds of sit ups etc. Today studies are showing that core stability and strength is the best way to improve your abs  - by working the stability muscles and strengthening the core we are improving the abs along with the spinal and pelvic floor muscles.

Core stability is now being recognised as the ultimate ab workout. By adding a few core stability and torso strengthening exercises we are improving our overall strength and endurance. It is important to have a balanced workout using both types of muscles to achieve balance. Too much work on the mobilising muscles, neglecting the stabilisers will leave you more liable to injury and imbalances in the body .
